BBULL FLEX SORTER
Accurate Segmental Rejection System for Containers with the Most Different Measurements and Weights
GENERAL INTRODUCTION

BBULL FLEX SORTER
Distorted or not exactly positioned containers after the rejection process are often causing faults and stops of the production lines. Usually the conventional rejection systems kick the containers off, but do not escort them to their final position.
In order to solve this problem BBULL TECHNOLOGY developed the rejection system “BBULL FLEX SORTER”.
The containers are escorted during the entire rejection process.
Thus a reliable rejection without twisting and seizing is assured.
The BBULL FLEX SORTER operates independent of the containers’ weight, dimensions and conditions.
Maintenance and cleaning times are reduced to a minimum and system malfunction caused by jammed cullets or other foreign objects is avoided by installing the BBULL FLEX SORTER above the conveyor.
Independent of the conveyor type the BBULL FLEX SORTER can be installed very space saving.
Due to its modular design the BBULL FLEX SORTER can be easily adapted to new containers at any time.

MODE OF OPERATION
Above the transport level the bracket for the single segments is applied across the conveyor.
A segment consists of the displacement paddle’s drive and the displacement paddle itself.
Each segment is activated separately.
By means of the well-directed kneeling of the displacement paddle in the containers’ raceway they are escorted to their final position (analogue to the use of a guard railing).

CHARATERISTICS
- multi-segmental rejection from 8 to 24 segments (incl. container escorting to their final position)
- rejection of containers with most different measurements
- extensive touch with the containers, thus especially suitable for displacing instable packing units
- displacement paddles can be arranged client-specific without modifying the basic module
- modular design, so adaption to new tasks is easy and quickly possible
- arbitrary number of displacement segments and consequently arbitrary displacement distance
- best access to the modules for maintenance and cleaning
- applicable for variable speeds up to 0,7 m/s or 6000 c/h.
- variable distribution of the containers from 1 lane to 2 or 3 lanes
