GENERAL INTRODUCTION

CENTRO SEAMAGE is a compact inspection system for quality assurance of containers
with sealed transparent films, like blister, meal tray and deep-drawn packages.
The system is based on the excellent proven image-processing software
“STRATEC IMAGE”.
CENTRO SEAMAGE includes an independent conveying system that allows a
product test without a station turning mechanically.
For inspection the product will be scanned from upside and downside the transport-
belt with a special camera technology. An integrated PC system with touch sceen and
Windows XP embedded operating system records and saves the collected data.
The image-processing software “IMAGE” offers the algorithms for detection of product
residues in the sealing area, inspection of the labelling as well as character recognition
for best-before date or barcode reading and many more.
After the inspection the defective packages can be removed directly off the product
stream with a fully automatic airblast-rejection.
The necessary tracking-modules are included in the system.
All available interfaces like remote maintenance, ODA or the synchronization of the transport
system are prepared for a flexible integration in existing or new production lines.
With CENTRO SEAMAGE the quality inspection starts immediately at the finished product.
