STRATEC BV 4000W is a compact, robust, complete system for a wide appliance spectrum in the quality assurance with a comprehending digital image processing system for Windows platforms.
Based on more than 15 years of experience in the beverage industry, the professional, digital image processing system is a fully developed product with a multiplicity of functional modules for all application ranges in the beverage industry as well as the food- and pharmaceutical industry.
The system contains an optical sensor bridge that consists of one or more camera systems incl. a lightning unit. The processing of the product data is affected by a premium industrial PC with touch display. Coordinated on the corresponding application the STRATEC BV 4000W offers numbers of problem solving in the quality assurance.
For determination of the evaluation features a number of measuring instruments are available in the software. For example the level of the absolute and relative positions as well as text, logo and barcode inspection, for every product.

The employed character detection in the system allows a reliable detection of various product data like date of manufacture / date of expiry / article numbers / charge numbers / etc., no matter if these are available in copy, dot matrix code, inkjet imprint or vector laser code. An actual reading of the inscription is done and compared with defined data records. Thus the textual accuracy of the inscription is granted.
Several fonts can be teached-in and saved. While format changing the right font is selected as well as the necessary setting parameters are activated automatically . Among others the detection commodity is adjustable. The required inscription can be reset or generated independently under the rules. The system is able to inspect two or more inscriptions. Certainly a visual detection of the inscriptions can be made besides the exact reading of the font (OCV). With our OCV - technique the print quality of different blocks of the label can be detected.

STRATEC BV 4000W detects and reads barcodes automatically and in every orientation, also if several different barcodes are visible in the picture. STRATEC BV 4000W processes the common 1D barcodes (EAN, UPC, Parma Code etc.) as well as 2D barcodes ECC200. Besides the system can be expanded with customer specific barcodes.

Shapes and patterns in different sizes are detected within the definable search window. The position and status will be assigned.

All configuration structures are very clearly arranged and intuitive user- friendly created, so that the required data can be adjusted and called up. The operation of the system occurs by a Microsoft Windows based software. All functions can be called up very fast and uncomplicated by a touch display.
